Theatre
Before focussing on arts projects and consultancy Boz produced and/or directed groundbreaking and visually breathtaking theatre productions. More recently Boz was on stage with Roddy Maude-Roxby on the main stage of the Royal Court. ‘Here be Masks’ was an improvisation using masks and formed part of ‘Come Together’ an evening of innovative work that recalled previous ‘happenings’ during the theatre’s 50 year history. The most recent full scale work for theatre was shown at the Arcola Theatre. ‘No,It Was You’, inspired by a poem by Rumi, was a response to the current situation of oil affected countries in the Middle East. Prior to that, as Joint Artistic Director of Primitive Science, he showed work in theatres and site specific venues all over London and the UK and was commissioned by international festivals including the Salzburg Festival, Expo 2000 in Hannover and others in Greece, Ireland and USA. The company received the Time Out Live Award for Best Off-West End Show with Icarus Falling.
